Justin Timberlake is listed to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, with fans questioning whether he’ll try to reform his older boy band *NSYNC or deliver out Janet Jackson to integrate his first Super Bowl series back in 2004.
New reports indicate that Timberlake’s set will feature neither of these things, but it will incorporate a Super Bowl Halftime performer. In accordance with TMZ, the halftime show will include a hologram of Prince, honoring the artist. Prince did the Super Bowl Halftime show in 2007, performing a number of his hits in the rain.
Last 16, Prince’s sister Tyka Nelson floated a Prince hologram’s thought. After initial reports of this hologram surfaced, longtime collaborator Sheila E. has stated it would be against the late musician’s fantasies. Pitchfork has achieved to Prince’s estate to learn more and repetitions for Timberlake.
Timberlake just earlier held a listening party for his new album Man of the Woods at Prince’s iconic Paisley Park compound.
